How to Brush Your Teeth

Hold the brush at a 45 degree angle and gently brush
the outer surfaces using a circular back and forth motion.

Brush the inner surfaces of the teeth using the same
circular back and forth motion.

Use the tip of the brush to access the inner surfaces of
the upper and lower front teeth.

Clean the chewing surfaces using a scrubbing motion,
then brush the tongue and rinse well.

Plaque

Immediately after eating or drinking the natural bacteria
in your mouth reacts with the food particles to form a
sticky substance called plaque. This material sticks
to the surface of your teeth causing decay.

Proper brushing and flossing removes this material and
keeps decay from forming.
